About JLee

Hi & Hola!

My name is Johanna Lee, & I am a first-gen, Chicana, bilingual (Spa/Eng) licensed therapist (LPCC) and millennial mom. I’m an introvert, second oldest of 5, eldest daughter & podcast lover. I have my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University and my Bachelors in Psychology from Harvard University. I have received advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International & have years of experience working with trauma & anxiety.

I gave birth to my daughter in November 2023 and my life changed. It hasn’t been an easy transition but it’s one I would choose all over again. I love who I am becoming as a mom and I am dedicated to helping other parent’s ground in who they are becoming as well! This is also why I created MillennialTheraMom (Instagram & Youtube Page) and the online community for moms. I want to help other parents (especially Latinx/BIPOC who have been underserved and underrepresented in healing spaces) gain the tools & resources they need to take care of their mental health. Many of us have faced barriers such as stigma, insurance, cost & more in our therapeutic healing paths so I aim to create a space that is accessible & supportive.

My intention for Connect with JLee is to provide a variety of supports that can help new parents, especially anxious moms, ground in this season, whether it’s through 1:1 therapy, educational videos, instagram content, online community, events or my blog. My hope is that you are able to take care of your mental health and recognize that you deserve to be well too! If you are interested in staying posted on current & upcoming postpartum & new parenthood resources, sign up for my email list here (ps if you are a perinatal provider, check out “Connect with The Village” community and instagram here.
